At 49 , your doctor should do a prostate exam & schedule a colonoscopy. Good luck!

I'm 46 and not ashamed. I had the same problems. Get an exam by your doctor asap. It sounds like a prostate issue. It could be serious or could be simple. A pill a day fixed it for me.

I have a family history of prostate cancer (grandfather passed away with it).
Is it mainly a genetic thing?

Alright. Calling my primary to get in ASAP....I’m sure he will refer me to proper specialist. Thanks for info.

Use the taint trick bro.

I doubt that you need a specialist at this point. However, that'll be your doc's call.
It could be an enlarged prostate (BPH) or prostatitis. I have the former and have symptoms similar to yours. No pain, just the urge to pee frequently. My doc prescribed doxyzosin mesylate and the symptoms disappeared.
Get your prostate checked and follow the doc's advice. Medical technology is advancing at an astonishing rate. I wish my Dad could have had some relief. He suffered mightily with his prostate.

I had a dribbling issue in hs, could play forward like a big dog but when we went to the 1-4 and I became a wing, my not being able to dribble for shite really hurt me until I was able to adjust a bit

I'm 52 and don't go often, but have noticed some of the symptoms mentioned here after going.
