A handful, not like a week either a few days in Arkansas. Dad was a business owner wasnt an option.

I only remember two week-long vacations as a kid. My mom and stepdad, God rest their souls, spent their excess money on weed and snacks.

Dad worked a lot and missed a lot of games and stuff, but we’d go on at least 1 2-week trip a year, sometimes more with family.
Colorado every couple years to see relatives and ski and hike.
Yellowstone…that year we drove into Canada for a night, and then on the way back in El Paso, and jogged into Mexico at Juarez for about 20 minutes just to say we did.
The family cabin up on lake Somo in Wisconsin
Iowa one year for a tractor expo
Lots of orange beach, Sarasota, destin, key west
Colonial Williamsburg and DC one year
Wyoming to see family,
Disney world and universal one year with extended family
The smokies
Hot springs
Been a lot of places and just now thinking how thankful I am my parents made those sacrifices to be able to give us those experiences. I’ve been a lot of places now that I think about it

I'd say we took 2 to 3 vacations on average. Always atleast 1 during the summer. Sometimes 2. And then a random one throughout the year.
