My wife, who doesn't care about soccer, films every penalty taken by Atlanta United.

I have no idea why. She doesn't post them and doesn't ever watch them. Penalties are the only part she likes and I guess it's just a pavlovian reaction when one is awarded.

Same. They are 15-30sec clips of big moments at big shows.

i'm not posting them to anything, other than a few snap groups where we encourage good music clips (nothing against top 40 shite, but we enjoy actual 5 piece bands playing actual live music). Nobody gives a frick about your bro country concert, or autotuned rap concert.

Going to the PGA championship last year showed me how few people give a frick about attending a live event if they can't show off that they went. When tiger had a tap in eagle on the 15th Sunday, I couldn't see him do it because of the 10 rows of people in front of me holding up phones. I wanted to swat those things away. ITs amazing. I had been watching tiger since I was a teenager 20 years ago, and it was my FIRST chance to see him live. I gave zero fricks about my phone other than a group pic in front of the leaderboard.

Same, but I provide evidence to back it up.

Rush - La Villa Strangiato at Concord Pavilion - Time Machine Tour

No, I wasn't using a phone, it was a compact camera with a zoom and a great mic circuit. I had a perfect angle on Neil, so I emphasized keeping him in the frame. But yeah, I get the OP's point. A phone is useless because of the wide angle and the saturated audio. But if I did use a phone, at least the video would be good because what's the point of taking video if you're not going to hold it steady.
