LASIK and CPAP and vasectomy are best decisions medically I’ve ever made. If I could only have had a dick extension before my dick died.

$4800 cash for the whole thing including preliminary/follow-up visits.
That was almost 12 years ago and was a great investment. I figure I have saved that much or more on contacts/glasses etc...

DO NOT price shop it!

You only have one pair of eyes. Do your homework and go with the absolute best doctor you can find even if it costs you hundreds more.

I'm disappointed I waited so long to get LASIK.

Consider using your HSA to cover the costs.

It's important not to price shop but instead find a reputable clinic that prioritizes your safety and well-being.

Get a free assessment

It only takes 30 seconds per eye, twice. Suck it up.

Don't hesitate any longer!

I had PRK right before I got out of the Air Force. If I had to pay, I’d do it in a heart beat. Best decision I have ever made.

I had it 25 years ago. It was almost $4k, but insurance covered it. Even if I'd had to pay for it, it would have been the best $4k I've ever spent.

Insurance will not cover it. Insurance will get you about a 10% discount. Additionally, you should be paying around $2300 per eye. Do not get cheap lasik where they’re using a credit card razor on your eyeball.

And by all means if you do not mind travel go to Karl Stonecipher in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is seriously one of the best in the world.

Little more done than Lasik and it was $6500. Both eyes had cataract issues and replaced with multi focus lens. Best decision I made. One was taken care of mostly by insurance and the other was optional so I had to pay for it since it was coming on quickly.

They’ve been doing it for a couple decades and it’s perfectly routine and safe. Complications are extremely rare.
theres one thing you should never hear your LASIK surgeon say:

“I’ve done 20,000 of these, and that’s the FIRST time this has ever happened!”

ask me how i know

This is the one thing you don’t want to go cheap with. In fact, find the most expensive one. It’s your sight. Don’t frick around with your sight.

By the way, I had it done 16 years ago. Was worth every penny.
