What about ESPN? Are you using Aunt Ezra's comcast password? That is my only issue in these threads. The O-T is always ripping people for being cheap, but then you have all the millennials on here jumping through hoops to get a stream for their favorite thing in the world (sports) in order to save $50-100 per month.

Sling TV looks very appealing, cheap and gives me the channels
sling tv sucks arse. it is cheaper but cheaper for a reason. it buffers like crazy, crappy UI or it just freezes on you. i thought it might be my internet speed but PS Vue works like a champ. i had sling for a year and a half thinking it might improve. it did not. spend the extra $10 and go for PS Vue.

When I watch a game at my local hangout, the kitchen staff has the game on the radio. We hear yelling coming from the kitchen 10 seconds before we see it on TV. Not cool.

I guess the point you want to know at the exact time it happens.

There's roughly a 7 second delay anyway due to operational inefficiencies and purposeful delays by the network. You're only watching it real time when attend the game. Even then, some science gurus will tell you that it takes a few milliseconds for the light to reach your eyes..

Watch them on kodi. They are usually there pretty quick

My friend has Kodi, and i watched an MMA fight at his house on it and he constantly had problems getting a good feed throughout the broadcast. Is this bc it was ppv or is it like this on other live sports broadcasts?

definitely understand where you are coming from Bunk. Won't be an issue once espn finally gets their steam service up in 2019 I'm sure

I might as well use my dad's because he's paying for it and has no idea watchESPN exists

but a friend of mine says that on live sporting events there is usually a 20-30 second delay from actual real time

thats a lie
it is not a lie if you are watching from an app like watch espn. and it is more like 1 to 2 mins. it takes time to digitize and bounce of the satellites.

thats for OTA channels. cant do this with ESPN games.

is it everything you hoped for? Cause with me it isnt. no HD feeds, constantly searching through different feeds. I dont even use it anymore i just download form my private torrent site and run though my media server. HD quality every time.

Did it 3 years ago before my first kid was born.

Recently added DIRECTV Now which gives me a good mix of channels.

, I have. I've looked up the box score on my phone halfway through a game before to see how a guy is doing. Get to the stat line and say to myself, he didn't have a 60 yd reception. Then... My nephew thinks I'm a gotdang genius when this happens.

$50/month for internet $10/month for netflix and a $20 dollar antenna. I also have Amazon prime so I get all of those; as well as a buddy's HBOGo password.

You're going to have those issues with ESPN products that aren't on ABC. Anything else you can get from a digital antenna (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, etc)
