Only relatively recently (in the last 20 years or so) has publicly coming out as gay truly become moderately "accepted". In some countries gays are thrown off of roofs or stoned to death. In the past, the community was shunned or charged with criminal activity. There was also that entire HIV epidemic. You see NO reason for them to have yearly celebrations?

Interesting that the movement is now splitting between people who happen to be attracted to the same sex but otherwise conform to societal norms, and the more extreme types.
"Gay" and "Queer" are no longer synonymous.

Ill have to check those out! Just bought a nice dress for my wife’s son last week. We dress xim in both girl and boys style clothes until xe decided what gender xe wants to be.
On his 6th bday we will have a gender reveal party where xe announces. If xe chooses girl, we will consult a dr the next day about surgery and hormone therapy

Gay marriage is, and never will/can be equal to hetero-marriage. Not in the eyes of God, and shouldnt be in the eyes of the govt. Anyone can get "married" in a cermony, but marriage isnt a govt institution. It's a religious one. The govt needs to promote a proper Biblical marriage, b/c it is the proper way to produce the govts revenue/tax "widget"..new humans. Why birth rates are so important for a govt, and luckily our biggest competitors have curbed theirs too. Yet lefties in this country promote 2 of the biggest anti-societal growth measures imaginable.
Russia cant fight, though obama was a coward towards them, b/c they can't stand to lose men right now. Putin has known this, and why he won his election on promotion of having a 3rd child. Why he said he didnt want gay pride at the olympics there, because he cant afford the promotion of something that counters his main agenda....population growth. But nooooo to the gay ideologs it was being discriminatory, because thats all they can think of. But it had nothing to do with Putin caring about gay behavior behind closed doors.
Anyone that believes that the promotion of gay behavior as a good societal norm, is short minded selfish.
