How long were you a poster before you discovered the OT?

I was probably here for a good year or two before discovering the beauty that is the OT. My life hasn't been the same since.

lurked OD board for bout year without account. Made one to post there for a question. maybe 6 or 7 months later i popped into the OT out of curiosity. Now my life is ruined.

I'm still pretty new but it had to be a couple of weeks.
I started on the Poli board but a lot of those guys must have jobs in politics cause they are intimately knowledgeable about those topics and crazy anal sometimes.

I discovered it right away, but back then it was almost exclusively one big inside joke, with the majority of posts coming from 20-30 users who all knew each other.
People who tried to join in the fun but didn't understand the game were ruthlessly mocked and told to GTFO.
I once decribed the OT as the deep end of the Tigerdroppings pool, where the lifeguards tried to drown you.

I joined bc of the money board and poodle. I had been reading the money board for a few years before I joined.

I believe it was years for me. I actually went to the SEC Rant before discovering the OT. Now I spend more time on here than I do either rant. I post in spurts though. Been on here for 11 years and only have a little over 5000 posts. That's 450 a year, or roughly a week for SFP.
