I have internet but no cable. I also don't fault them because I rode in a boat down my street to get here...

I can't catch CBS with my antenna but I'm pretty sure I can catch the CBS football games on KODI.

Other than still being out? None that I'd heard.

It's corporate America talk for "Call", "email", "text".

Or street talk definition would be "hollar at ya boy"

Update on Cox, crews have been in the Denham Headend all day and are still there getting power systems back online. You guys fed off that facility should start to see services restored in the next 24-48 hours depending how the damage to the outside plant infrastructure. (Cabling between the headend and your house. Hang in there in the meantime.

It was back on in Denham last night... Off again this morning. Hopefully it won't be much longer.

That's good to know. I know for some in Denham that it has been hard, but those workers for Cox had damage as well. In today's age not having the Internet can be a oroblem for most as far as paying bills.

I wasn't complaining, just curious. A Cox worker in my non-affected neighborhood has spent a large portion of his time relocating people from their flooded houses to safety. So, I'm well aware that they've been affected and are helping in more impactful ways than restoring cable services. I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything.

While typing this, I got an email that my thermostat reconnected to Wifi. So, it must be back up now.

I didn't say you were complaining. I am the same boat as you. Don't miss tv much at all. Just the ability to check important issues for my home via the Internet.

When Cox finally came back, my internet service has gotten better. We were having several tiny outages a day before all this crap.
