Here’s a simple question for you:
Do you understand what per capita means?
Losing population does not mean a worse economy! Under such insane logic, why is india poorer than Switzerland?
An economy is strong or weak based on how productive its citizens are, not how many many raw people there are.
If America loses 15 million Mexicans, gdp goes down, but so does the denominator you divide by to get gdp/capita

While this is a complete non sequitur within the topic I will try to pull it into the discussion.
Consider and discuss what it will do to the economy if you pull 15 million people out of the country when a large portion of them work in a small number of sectors and make up a significant amount of those sectors' labor force.
