I got 3 degrees in 7 years. The first only took 4 years (and I was loading up on electives to milk my scholarships/stipends vs. graduating early)
edit: FWIW, for my last degree, I took 46 hours in 12 months. 20 each hours for fall and spring, then another 6 in summer. That's the degree that qualified me for my career, and my second degree qualified me to apply for the third one.

Undergrad 3.5 yrs. HS-->MD in 7.5 yrs.

You can't compare back then to today, its not even relatable.
