Ski Lodge had a "Lingerie Lunch" back in the day as I recall, yes? Also, wasn't Senior Frogs originally in FC?

No way Jose, it's about 2 miles from Metairie Bucktown.

Low percentage move not sure why you thought this was a good idea even 20 years ago.

Here is a montage of photo's taken in and around Kalebs back in the 80's. Lots of group photo's. Check it out. You may see some old friends (or yourself!)

Yeah. Very quick drive down W. Esplanade from Bucktown to Fat City, but a helluva walk. Also, West End Park used to be connected to Bucktown by a footbridge. The big pump station at the Lake put an end to that. Can only access West End Park by going into Orleans parish now.
Never understood why Jefferson parish had that little sliver of land on the east side of the 17th St Canal. Would be nice to see them redevelop that space.

Currently there are plans to do more with the space between Bonnabel Boat launch and Bucktown Marina along the lake, but some neighborhood groups are fighting it pretty hard.

Really? How so? All of Metairie? Even Old Metairie? What part of Metairie are you referring to? I've been to Port Allen several times and Metairie, and I actually cannot find ANYTHING in either of the two areas that resemble one another.
