Looking around for a TV, and went to the typical stores (best buy/circuit city), then went to Conn's. How are these stores still open? The store makes you feel like your still in the 1980's (except with plasmas/LCD's).

They finance people that can't get it at other places. Once the get you in that chair you're done. Notice what part of town they are in.

My wife had a salesman follow her out into the parking lot wanting to know why she didn't want to buy a dishwasher from them.

The one off College?

Both of them are pretty borderline. You go under 210 and you're into the busiest stores in LC. So it really isn't a bad location. As for who goes in there? Dunno. The only thing I've gotten from them is my recliner.

I checked Best Buy and Circuit City when I bought my 46" LCD and Conn's said they would beat their price by $50. I bought from Conn's.

Hate that place. High-pressure sales tactics. And the name of the business is quite appropriate considering how they do business.
