I used to get home at age 5, hop on my atc 70, and ride until I ran out of gas.
When you consider they got 70+ miles to the gallon, that's a lot of riding unsupervised.

i was from 4th grade on, i think. i would say 12 might be a better age, but when both parents work, or you have one parent households, you have to do it.

my brother and I were latch key kids from the time he was in the 6th grade (2nd grade for me) until he played JV football then I was on my own until my parents got home which would have been third grade. Once I starting playing JV football, we would have to wait on my parents after practice until he started driving.

I'm thinking about doing this, starting in the fall. My oldest will be in 3rd grade and my youngest 1st grade. I live in a good neighborhood, and there are some stay-at-home mom neighbors that would check up on them for me. They would have to be on their own for 2 hours. I'm just drowning in bills, and my ex-wife doesn't help me with paying for anything.

I had a nanny pick me up from school and take care of me until my parents came home. looking back on it my nanny was around 20-25 thin and big breasted. Usually attractive and would spend extra time in my parents bed room with my dad. I think they were just discussing all the things that she did with me. yep im sure of it.
