Not a magician. A master card mechanic.

And shuffle machines can be manipulated also.

I can't speak for multiple deck shoes - I don't play blackjack much. But I have seen Blackjack tables switched to single deck hand shuffle numerous times.

Coolers are seen mostly in higher stakes games.

And some coolers aren't great card mechanics. They're just good at switching to a 'cold deck'.
