re: How does Chik Fil A have better more efficient workers?

Around last Christmas I had to pick up a large order at Popeye's for a potluck dinner.

I had a long wait for the food and at one point the drive through employee got into a screaming match with the Manager over who would get the next batch of chicken. The employee was disrespectful and paid absolutely no attention to the manager's orders.

I would imagine if someone pulled that stunt at Chick, they would be fired on the spot.

If I was the manager, I wouldn't have taken that crap from an employee. Especially in front of paying customers.

Clearly Chick doesn't put up with any crap and they do a better job of hiring folks.

I work by the Siegen Chik-fil-A and I'm very impressed with the employees there. Last week, a kid spilled a Coke in the play area and a manager SPRINTED to clean it up.

I'm not hating on CFA, they are an incredibly well-run business, but it's comical how racist/prejudice people can be regarding their service.

First of all, I virtually never have a bad customer service experience at a fast food place. Leads to believe most of the people that do, are simply hard to please and insufferable themselves, just looking for a reason to get pissed at the workers.

All the "code words" are clear though, most just don't realize it or want to admit.

"They are so well spoken."
"Articulate and gracious employees."

It's basically saying "I like having white people serve my shitty fast food to me."

Also, it's amazing how white women think their wraps are "healthy."

Furthermore, their menu is pretty basic. Don't have some 12 year-old or picky arse adult asking for a "1/3 cheeseburger, but with no mayo, no mustard, extra ketcup, no cheese, no tomatoes, but add pickles and onions." Then that person getting pissed with McDonald's/Hardees messes up their $5.80 order.

Finally, the biscuits at CFA are shitty. I'm talking awful. Dryer than the snatch of a 93 year-old woman. I wouldn't feed their biscuit to a starving homeless and his pet dog, that's how awful they are.

Come on man...you don't really think this.

People like to be given good, polite service by workers who don't act like they are an inconvenience. The workers at McDonalds near me are almost as nice and pleasant as those at the CFA next door. But, the McD's across town, and the burger king, and the taco bell....whole other story. I have never felt negatively about the experience at any CFA I've ever been to.

You must have never been to McDonalds. The last few times I've been (which is very rare) the service has been awful. Didn't expect much less though because, well, it's McDonalds. Has nothing to do with race.

There is some truth to this. There is a lot of trash that eats fast food that have terrible attitudes themselves.

What's funny is to me is, you have trashy people on social media and here that bitch about service at FF places. Just combative assholes who go in looking to instigate trouble. Then, they will bitch on the same mediums about how FF workers shouldn't get $15 an hour... But if your fat arse eats as much FF as I think, you're service would improve with higher wage employees


For me, I've always been respectful and killed FF employees with kindness. Or maybe I'm just easy going, as I can't recall a time I've ever let service bother me (I don't eat FF often). Maybe I just have low expectations for $7.50 per hour employee serving shitty food, idk

The worst chik-fil-a I've ever been to is the one on college drive in BR. (Still better than 90% of the FF places in BR)

The best chik-fil-a I've been to was in Katy, TX

Athens al Taco bell is insane.

People. Organization. But the key is the manager. Run a ship or run it to shite.

Im just gonna say it. Most of their workers are white and thats why they are more efficient.
