It's a joke....but for your knowledge, in the federal government, like the postal service, minorities get preferential treatment on the scores because of their minority status....therefore, the best scoring applicant doesn't always get the job.
So, people like you that agree with that are the ones who have something seriously wtong.

SO is a Franklin grad. She's a classically trained violinist with an architecture degree from Columbia. Her brother also went to Frannklin and was a Marine officer then an FBI agent. One of the Marsalis brothers was in her class at Franklin. She had a lot of Bohemian classmates, but also a lot who were pretty normal. She does talk about the unbelievable pressure, though. She was so burnt out she took a three year break before going to college.

Is it a school kids have to apply and be accepted to attend? That's the case with Thomas Jefferson School of Science and Technology in NOVA. The average SAT score there in 2016 was 2198 (out of a possible 2400). It's the second highest rated STEM high school in the nation.

The only private school on par with these on the number of perfect ACT, AP, National Merit, and Presidential scholars is Jesuit.
In a typical year, Ben Franklin, BRM, and Jesuit will each have about 5 perfect ACTs and all of the rest of the schools in LA will have about 5 perfect ACTs combined.
You have to be a real dumbass to send your kid to private school if they can get franklin or BRH. It isn’t surprising they compete.
Same goes for Houston magnet schools like vanguard and debakey

Damn Jesuit is cheap compared to private schools in Texas

As much as I like to make fun of my Jesuit friends from time to time, it's a damn good value for a great education.

One thing Ben Franklin won’t teach is morals. Many of the kids do drugs and have zero morals. Great grades are easy when you don’t have to take religion as well.

Plenty of Jesuit kids smoke pot I can assure you of that

When I went to Jesuit in the mid 2000s it was the cheapest Catholic school in the city and the 2nd cheapest Jesuit school in the country (the cheapest was free)
Jesuit has a not unearned reputation for being a school for rich kids, but the tuition is cheaper than pretty much everything else that's not public.
One year of Mcghee kindergarten is like 2-3 years of Jesuit high school.

What's sad is that we can't say definitively that this is a troll.

It's an insanely hard school to get into. You have to test in, and test well. They also have great, long-tenured teachers, and put up with zero crap.
