That works until you can’t test every bit of whatever drug you’re using for fentanyl, or until you get hold of something that’s been laced with Xylazine, an animal tranquilizer. Fentanyl strips won’t detect Xylazine, and Narcan doesn’t work against it. There are strips being developed for Xylazine, but they aren’t in mass use yet.
