Had a friend that did that. Got to his 4th or 5th floor hotel room, looked over the balcony, got a running start, and jumped into the pool. He was kicked out before he could make it back to the room.
Stupid, but I'm sure it is thrilling. When I raced motocross, the feeling of hitting a huge jump for the first time was like nothing else I've felt in life. You know the consequences of coming up just a couple feet short, but it's so satisfying when you nail it.
