I have people at work that get "the latest news" via twitter or where ever.
They say "hey there is a shooting at ________"
I immediately check td.com and give them all the updates. And I get asked where I am getting the info

When you use TD as your primary source for all news, snopes, and everything else going on. For shite sake I got tired of telling my family members where I got my info from that now even my mom follows.

First thing I do when I wake up and last thing I do before going to sleep. I haven't watched the news in yrs unlike my wife and know everything that's going on before she does. When I have a question about anything I come here first before calling a friend. Dead battery by noon 3-4 times a week. For the dads out there, when my 45 lb bull of a three year old is tap dancing on my face and I don't even flinch because I'm to deep into a thread!
