Ask him if he likes to eat curry then explain how people who eat it regularly emit a curry odor. Hopefully he gets the hint.

Had to tell an employee once she had to wear deodorant. Patients had completed how bad she stunk. At first I was going to be embarrassed about telling her, but then decided I was more mad at her laziness than anything. She quit the next week.
