For example, this is one of my favorite pieces of sculpture in the world:

She's not thin; she's not plump. She's just... a woman. That body type is always going to be considered just fricking fine, even if it's not what happens to be en vogue at any given moment.

That’s all what I was trying but failing to articulate.

But that sculpture you love so much is not even a woman she's a fairy who didn't want to have sex with the God Apollo. So they probably wouldn't have given her a woman's body being that it's not for having sex with her.

I was willing to play along with the troll, but this is beyond the pale

Haha I hear ya. To dudes looking to get their dick wet, the extremes don't matter. When we talk about "beauty standards", we're talking about which extreme end of the acceptable band we happen to be fetishizing at any given moment. It's interesting from a sociological perspective, but you can take random "sexy" woman from 1300 and swing her to today, and do the same with a "sexy" woman now, and assuming everyone involved has taken a bath lately, neither will have any issues finding willing participants

If you were going to paint a woman you would want to paint a voluptuous woman. Wtf would paint or sculpt a skinny woman with no arse or tits?
