This poor lady didn't have a limp, so I assume that she must have a heart condition. Is there something about upscale SUVs that make it easier for the disabled to live their lives? I would think that life and earning potential would be harder for some one suffering from a condition, I'm so happy that our system is not prejudiced against the disabled so much so that they can afford the finer things. Bless their heart.

What? If you look at the overall population of vehicles with handicap tags, more of often than not you see pretty trashy vehicles. That's my perception anyway.

That looks like one of those dinky little Mercedes for people who can't afford a real Mercedes.

Why would it mean they have been disabled all their life? Why would she have to have a limp?

Older people have more money to own an upscale vehicle and older people have a higher rate of handicapness.

Getting a physician to justify you're eligible for SSDI payments is the tough part. Getting a handicap tag is a walk in the park once you've done that.

It is pretty ridiculous that you took a picture of this person unless you thought he/she was Ray Charles.

I work downtown where lot parking is $35/day. I've taken video of an entire block of handicapped placards in a row and sent it to the mayor. No one gives a shite about placard abuse.

People abusing HC parking is a real aggravation. Look around sometime and notice how many people have HC tags. They’re too easy to get, and people borrow them from legit tag holders.

Usually don’t see Asians or Mexicans with them. Usually fat whites and blacks. In the Nola area, every fourth car has a tag. It’s like they come standard on Cadillac CTS and Chryslers.

Movie theaters too. There’ll be 30 HC cars lined up. But go inside, no wheelchairs, crutches, or elderly.

I'm independently wealthy and I am handicapped. No one told me I had to give up my fortune when I had a health problem. I drive whatever the fuk I want to. You can jump up my arse.

Physicians employed by Social Security Administration make the decision on disability qualification based on your submitted medical records and any additional tests they may require you to get. You don't get to shop for your own doctor as many believe.
