dementia

Severe dementia they will forget to eat, drink, refuse to bath, and refuse to go to the bathroom. Basically, you would have to put a feeding tube in them and feed them. Most of the time they will pull it out. You would have to hydrate them intravenously through an IV. They will have a foley cath for their urine and most will try to pull these out. All of these will lead to increase risk for infection. Also, someone will have to bath them every day and clean up every bowel movement. Some patients with severe dementia can not speak. They simply just lay in bed.

It is just terrible.

All you guys can do what you want, but since it runs in my family, I did some research.

.

My personal opinion is that, based on what I read, aspirin may help ward it off.

Since I was 39, I've taken 81MG of Ecotrin daily.

Ask your doctor before you start an aspirin regimen.
