In case anyone didn't hear NOLA has a boil water advisory for the east bank. How do I get these alerts sent to my phone so I'm not reliant on someone having to just let me know or stumbling across it randomly. Thanks

Also inb4 "shithole" & "third world country"

Download the nola.com app and allow for banner alerts. That will keep you on top of it.

With NO S&WB, its probably just safer to assume you're always under a boil water advisory.

It was only for east of the Industrial Canal when I went to bed. Did it turn into the whole east bank of the city?

You should request getting a text alert for when NOLA is NOT under a boil water advisory. You would get a lot fewer texts.

Is that a difference from the normal water?

It's Jefferson Parish as well. Hearing that water pressure is very low in some areas.
