I was in OEP during Katrina for 29 straight days...after about 70something hours Walter pulled us all together...
we said a prayer...and he said "Baton Rouge will never be the same again"...

no truer words were spoken...traffic is only part of it...

You're not stuck in traffic, you are traffic.

If people would drive less there would be less traffic, but I don't give a shite cause I don't live there anymore.

Katrina was 12 years ago. Tired of hearing that excuse. Where's the empirical proof that shows the massive population increase?

Farad you are such a dumb arse with that shite.
Baton Rouge was top five in murders in the US in the early 90's.
And the traffic has sucked balls since the late 80's

Interstate came after city was built, so planning was poor. EBR is now the most populated parish in the state.

Mainly because of Katrina.

No one really gives a crap about Baton Rouge....its really not important or else the Fed Govt would have taken the initiative to improve things.

Notice the interstate system in/out of New Orleans...its a major port...its important to get freight in and out of there.

See how real life works?

East Baton Rouge is the most populated parish in the state. So yeah, I'd say 447,000 people give a damn.

And if you want to consider what they call metro, that's 830,000 people that give a damn.

Katrina
The Flood
Bad Infrastructure
ect.

Also, i see about 10 rear end accidents a week around town. Most of the time during the morning or evening rush People need to stop rubber necking, put the phone down, and concentrate on driving.

That's not sarcasm. I'm agreeing. No body gives a shite about Louisiana.

If you see the amount trash places, not even some of our own citizens give a shite.
