my grandmother raised 7 kids on a farm during the depression era, by herself, was never on any payroll, never dawned on me till I was an adult to wonder how she received a SS check, but she did

Are you required to continue to pay Alimony if you lost your job (income) after divorce?

nothing to do with pulling out. It’s not child support, it’s Alimony. You can pay Alimony to someone that you’ve never had kids with.
I’d still argue pulling out had a financial effect, especially in this situation eh.
You could’ve been on the hook for so much more.

Had to be a bunch of women that came up with that law. Men get screwed over enough in divorce without having to support their ex-wife for life. But hey, if guys are stupid enough to get married then I guess they only have themselves to blame.
It should go by how busted out their vagina is.

Alimony alimony paying your bills

I want to know what percentage of men crying about alimony didn't have a prenup. Unless it is written in too draconian a manner, you can turn most of the unknown into known.
You are only at the mercy of family court if you choose to be.

Did the wife agree to stay home and be a homemaker for the marriage so the husband could pursue his career?
Well she could get experience or education after the divorce and then get a job.

You get married at 25 and your wife divorces you at 35.

Marry someone with a similar earning potential. Or a higher earning potential. Then you can get alimony from her.
As it’s been said many times, almost nobody gets lifetime alimony from a 10 year marriage at 35. Is she disabled?

Simple search on Google yields Hammurabi Code as a source, though not the only one. From there, it filtered - in some form - into other religions.
Even the bots and trolls are lazy these days.
