I see a lot of women on the golf courses playing without men in groups.

Mine used to play with me in trnys now and then, not on weekends though. She would play nine hole scrambles on Wednesdays afternoon. And on vacation. Then grandkids came along and no more golf.

I played with a newly retired guy at a resort in Florida that said he's trying to get his wife in to golf because when they travel the round of golf would be much cheaper than the shopping and spa treatments she gets while he's out golfing.
Monetarily it makes sense, but for sanity's sake I don't know if it would be worth it.

If we are on vacation, she will come with me to the course. She just goes for the ride and brings her iPad to read. Every once in a while she'll try to hit a shot or putt.
One time I was playing at Timberlane, planned to just get in a quick round by myself but the dick at the course wouldn't let me play alone so he paired me up with a couple that was in town on business. They were both horrible. He's trying to coach her but he was just as bad. On the 9th green, he asks me where is the closest store b/c his wife just started her period and she didn't have a tampon.

I would love to find a girl who loved golf and was good at it. I honestly don't drink that much during golf because I'm pretty damn good and practice a lot, and if I'm wasted I play shittier and get pissed off.

I play 3-4 times a month with a few other buddies. If it works out to where they can't come, rather than playing alone, I bring my wife and she's always excited to go. I enjoy that she shows interest in my hobbies when she can.
