LOL at having 3 top golfs way out in trashy burbs. The only one actually in 'houston' is about as far out in the city as you could possibly be

Also the hour commute times one way while paying the $8 toll

Oddly, I have his address but not his e mail address.

I have noticed an increased detachment from reality with him....I would be concerned but I detest him.

Hey Rouge.

really don't understand why people feel the need to live so far away from where they work.

You can't understand that houses close to downtown offices are going to average 700k? shite, a 1500 sq ft house built in 1980 with no yard on a shitty street is going to be 400k. And with property taxes here, you are looking at a 2500 a month mortgage at the very least.

Whereas I can live in The Woodlands, with all the amenaties I need, amazing schools, parks, shopping, food, concerts, etc. and spend 300k for a 2500 sq ft brand new house.

Hour commute is easy when you factor in that. Plus I get mileage

That's one of the lures for Louisiana to move to Houston.

10% of all people born in Louisiana eventually move to TX.

Living outside the loop and working inside it makes for a terrible commute.

Could you do a 4/10 schedule or maybe work from home 1-2 days a week? Houston companies are a LOT more accommodating with that stuff than Louisiana companies are.

That's my saving grace. I pretty much never have to go inside of 610. I've got a long haul some days (I've got customers on the north side, north west side, west side, Bellaire, and galleria). But I never have to get into the nitty gritty other than dealing with the galleria traffic. Plus, I can pretty much make my own hours as long as the customer is happy with my effort. I'm out of the galleria by 3:30 to get back to the woodlands. Takes about an hour door to door. If I leave at 6:30 in the morning though....FML. But no one really keeps tabs on me, so If I show up a little late, no one is the wiser. I try to head out before 6 though
