That’s a good strategy. I would stick with it.

Pete's as suggested above. They will package for you to freeze. Excellent quality (and you pay for it).

Have any of you guys tried the steaks from Midway? I've had a few of their different kinds of sausage and they were pretty good.

If it was NOLA, you can't beat Wagner's Meat, but since it is H town your screwed, no over priced Rouses, Winn Dixies, or Robert's Fresh Markets within a 100 miles.

If you think Rouses and WD are over priced you should come see Houston prices.

Check out Sprouts on CRB just inside 99. Quality meat , helpful butcher , and typically they’ll rus specials and you can stock the freezer.

Yes this Sprouts has a quality meat section. Cinco and Peek

Majkszaks on 105 is good. I've ordered rib roasts from there for the holidays. They can get just about anything you would want. Ainsworth on 2978 is pretty good as well.

H-E-B meat has gotten real shitty since the panny. Overpriced and bad quality.

I pretty much only buy steaks from RC Ranch at the Farmers Market now.

There’s a new spot out near you that might be worth checking out, called Carniceria Prime. No idea on selection or price, but their IG looks solid.

Whole Foods has the meats and the yoga pants. Central Market has the meats and a very disappointing female shopper group.

I always warn people when they go to Central Market. Watch out for the old biddies and the large hispanics that barrel into the store shopping for the old biddies or their families they nanny. They are mean and block aisles.
