On the other thread about this, I said this lady was channeling her inner Joe Clark with this policy.
I'm really surprised HISD let the principal get away with this, at least so far.

Back in the 50s &60s, there WERE parental dress codes. But parenTS didn’t need to be told what they were. They just knew what proper dress was.

Louisiana public high schools could use this policy.
As a conservative, only a few things should matter.
1. Is the school within their legal right do so? Privates can get away with more than public.
2. Is this practice going to implemented in cost effective and fair manner (ie is this going to require additional resources that taxpayers must provide).
I agree with it in spirit, but I'm also pragmatic.

banned revealing and sagging clothing for all people visiting the school,
Absolutely racist. I don't sag at work, but on weekends I get my sag on. Saggin with some Calvin Klein boxer-briefs looks sexy AF and if I'm going out to meet chicks I rock a sag. Mark Wahlberg slayed with his sag in the early 90s.
Why do I you wear my pants like that?
I wear my pants like this – for easy access baby.

Does your boyfriend know you go out like that in public?

You think this is needed in schools- has anyone seen the way people show up to visit hospital patients these days?

I try not to be judgemental in a hospital because it's possible the family member is close to death or otherwise in a tough spot

how is it racist?
The same way that liquor stores putting up a sign that says "no hoodie, no sunglasses" is apparently racist.

How is not dressing like trash, racist?
How is it not? Why don't you just destroy the entire culture with other insensitive policies?
