Token need for treatment. This is part of the socially acceptable liberal progressive transformation of America. It's already par for the course in Hollywood. I'm not comfortable with it. That doesn't mean I'm going to have PTSD. I'd freak out on the guy in the moment and probably forget the whole thing by the next day.

First of all, there really have not been much in the way of empirical studies affirming the effectiveness of treatment for sex offenders.
Second, in the case of Spacey, I have always wondered about him. That said, I am sure the "seeking treatment" was quickly initiated upon the advice of his PR consultant and talent agent.

Completely understandable for him to be pissed by a several month long PTSD for something like that seems too much. Almost an insult to people who actually suffer PTSD from years of sexual abuse.
