Just me and my wife. Why do I need such a expensive home when we take trips year round?? 1800 for just us with a nice Patio and pool is what we want. Why spend on space when I do not need it. Its why I am not in any debt.

Fair enough. I guess I just always think in terms of resale. Either a ton of land or nice neighborhood and if I were to spend that much on a piece of land I guess I would assume I am going to at least double that spend on the house. Just my opinion though.

LCA- How are you old friend. I trust you and the misses and children are ok during the riots?

the reason the lots cost so much is because they get you out of the traffic. Sure I live in a 1400sqft house, but my drive to work is <10 min both ways.

It's a lot. Looks like the price was recently lowered to 460k, too

That shite is insane.

There's a realtor who is sitting on a several lots in Old Goodwood. He's asking crazy prices for the interior lots, that's for sure. Keep em coming!

We spent about $180K just on construction. Lot is not included in price.

97' x 200' lot in Magnolia Woods Kenilworth area of BR just sold for $274K, a development down the street from that has .25 acre lots that start at $225K. Any lot in a decent southeast BR area is $200K+, over $300K is common.
