So you personally know more than 10 racist white guys, and can attest to their upbringings, yet from the time you were a kid till adult hood you were surrounded by black ppl and you never met a racist black person. Is that right?

I grew up a white kid in a black neighborhood. I interacted with my share of racist black people of all ages.

I grew up around a lot of both. Never saw much racism, probably because I wasn't looking for it.

i can attest that they grew up around and with racists. yeah. a bunch of good ol' boys. i didn't say i've never met a racist black person. i sure as hell don't know any, though. my entire point is that if you look around there is no "racial divide" between white young adults (except maybe the greek types) and black young adults. the "racial divide" is between older white adults (and especially republicans) and black young adults.
it's a different culture and a different social pecking order than they accustomed to.. and that is why they are afraid.
