Sorry but I don’t play the retarded link game. Look it up yourself and disprove my assertion if you want, but don’t ask me to do your homework for you.

Burden of proof baw...the one making the asinine claim is the one who needs to provide the proof.

Guys! Masks prevent you from getting sick, so when you stop wearing a mask, you might get sick!!

So like, basically every medical organization in the world that says that herd immunity is how you stop the spread of disease? Whether by community transmission or vaccine?

quote:

Yes, 200 million americans

That’s simply untrue. Never mind the fact that there are studies that show as high as 30% of the population are resistant to it from the get go. And you’re talking about reaching full herd immunity. My correction CLEARLY said we’d be closer to herd immunity, and mostly back to normal. You’re assuming 200 million already infected. You’re also a dumbass for your lack of reading comprehension.

quote:

limited resources to treat, limited beds in hospitals, no guarantee of the long term effects or ability to get it twice, and no vaccine or proven effective treatment would've been a huge success.

Resources...you mean like ventilators? Yeah, we’ve never run out of those.

Beds...we’ve never run out of those either.

Ability to get it twice...bury your head in the sand if you want...or more likely, point to the .05% of people who catch it twice.

No vaccine...when they create this vaccine, it will be the first in human history for a corona virus in humans, because, you know, there has been no need for one before. Whomever would have ever made one for the common cold would have gone broke doing so.

So, tell me what “flatten the curve” was supposed to cause? Do you even know? Or are you just one of those who has transitioned from flatten the curve, to slow the spread, to stay home to save lives, to stop the spread?

Maybe he doesn't feel like it. And maybe you need to get off your fat lazy arse and see for yourself.

OP — Does it also bother you that some folks wear sunscreen to protect themselves from getting skin cancer? Why do you care what others do to protect their health?

because no one is "mandating" that you wear sunscreen. Suggest it, certainly. Require it, no.

I don't give a damn what you do- to you. But when you start telling me I have to do it too, then there is a problem. And that is what is happening.

We've had lots of medical organizations explain how to stop the spread of this one, but you guys don't want to do it cuz muh constitution!

Based on what? Your deep scientific knowledge of infectious disease and modeling within a worldwide population?

quote:

Resources...you mean like ventilators? Yeah, we’ve never run out of those.

Beds...we’ve never run out of those either.

Yeah, because significant measures were taken across the country. You think that would have happened it we maintained full on business as usual?

quote:

No vaccine...when they create this vaccine, it will be the first in human history for a corona virus in humans, because, you know, there has been no need for one before.

And now there's a need...and some of the smartest medical minds and companies in the world are working on it and will figure it out

I'm one of those who knew what would happen if this thing spiked again (exactly what's happened) and so was willing to undergo the minor inconvenience of wearing a mask and distancing. But thanks to you dummies, here we are...and how there likely won't be football or at least fans in the stands this fall. Thanks assholes.

N95 and a complete seal is the only time the mask is truly effective.

The one where people making absurd statements say "find it yourself" when called to the carpet for said ridiculous claim because they know it's not true or couldn't find anything to support their dumb statement.

Baw, the gubmint tells you what to do every day. You wear shoes in a restaurant? Gubmint. You know you can get a ticket for speeding? Gubmint. You can get a ticket for not wearing your seatbelt? Gubmint. You hunt or fish when they say it's ok to hunt and fish? Gubmint. Etc etc etc.

Ah yes...I do recall reading that on the CDC website a while back:

"We recommend exposing yourself to a variety of viruses monthly to maintain a healthy immune system. Working out your immune system by regularly getting sick is the only way to keep it healthy and strong. We recommend not washing your hands during cold and flu season, sneezing without covering your mouth, and licking seats and poles on public transit for best results."

The level of ignorance and stupidity around some of the more straight forward concepts of physics and health displayed by you and others is truly impressive. You're saying things that are patently false, and which you would know if you gave it a bit of thought or did a bit of research before posting. But no, you're just putting it out there. Kudos to you

So why is your post directed towards individuals? If you’re pissed at a government mandate, then bitch at the government instead of individuals.
