Should Hoover coach be disciplined for taking shirt off at pep rally?

quote:

Hoover High School head football coach Josh Niblett stripped off his jacket and cutoff shirt during a Friday afternoon pep rally.

"What school's gonna flex?" he asked the crowd, referencing a "Flex or Flinch" sign hanging above the school gym where the rally was held.

The move drew criticism from some who said they considered the display to be inappropriate for a school event. Others expressed support for the unusual move.

They lost to Tua Tagovailoa's little brother that night BTW.

It's inappropriate in high school. College students are adults.

Not for that, but for this:

Also, never realized how much he looks like my father in law.

I've known him for years. He use to go to church with us before moving to Hoover. He's actually a really nice guy. He's a bit intense for sure. But overall a nice guy. And a damned good coach.

It probably wasn't appropriate, but I don't think there was some malicious intent behind his actions.

I doubt he sees any discipline other than maybe not attending the next pep rally.
