Watch Trump actually get involved, get Honkus on the plane, and then invite him to the SOTU.

I’m guessing the Yichang airport is shut down, too?
yeah. when the airport was still open we actually booked flights that were set to depart last night at 10pm.. but they were cancelled Saturday night. thats when the wuhan diplomat planes news broke and i really dove into this social media campaign.
i hope i made enough noise to get a spot on the plane... but either way i will still be banging the drum that WE NEED MORE PLANES

Surely a family with little kids would be given high priority. What a scary situation. If they publish where they quarantined the evacuees, hopefully they allow us to send y’all some king cake and wine.

I’d like to think you’ve got 4 seats on that flight.
I also hope State Dept. is helping you get to Wuhan.
BTW Graves Chief of Staff is top notch. Keep in contact with him and let him know ASAP of any issues or potential issues.

from what we've heard the flight from wuhan will be going to San Fran.. so we're expecting to spend a couple weeks there in quarantine.. (hopefully)

I wonder how they will quarantine so many in one place? Military bases? Rent out a few hotels and put guards at the doors?

You are my Truman Show. I'm rooting for your family to take that bow once you're home safe.

People shite on the sidewalks in SanFran. There’s really no need to quarantine.

There is a couple from BR that lives in Wuhan running a coffee shop named Mr Mai’s. Their names are David and Faith McNabb and they have lived there for many years. If he can reach out to them on Facebook, perhaps they can offer guidance. They posted today so they have access. A friend posted that each section of the city is closed off from the others so movement is limited. God Bless all of them and keep them safe.

During Ebola one of the training sites back in the woods was used to quarantine our soldiers returning from Africa for the required period.
Most bases are on large chunks of land with secluded training areas with hardened facilities tucked away. Works for this situation

Don’t hold your breath, they have 0 detection equipment or precautions at the SFO airport currently.

Just saw your GMA segment...man, frankly the other day when you began posting in the other thread I was skeptical, and thought you may have been trolling.
Normally I don’t watch the news, but pretty glued to this corona stuff since you’re in the m middle of it.
Are you up to speed on the latest (reported) infection and death counts?
2700+ confirmed
80 deaths
Another source I was just reading unconfirmed, but reportEd from a website out of Singapore:
quote:
Chinese premier Li Keqiang on Monday (Jan 27) visited Wuhan, the epicentre of a Sars-like virus outbreak, as the death toll climbed to 80 including one government official. On Sunday, there were 769 new infections reported in mainland China, the National Health Commission said early Monday, bringing the total confirmed cases to 2,744, including 461 in serious conditions. There were also 24 more deaths and 5,794 suspected cases across the country.
quote:
Most of the patients infected were either from Hubei province, where Wuhan city is located, or had travelled to the area in recent weeks.
quote:
The State Council, China’s cabinet, said on Sunday that it would extend the Chinese New Year holidays by three days in a bid to curb the spread of the virus through reducing human movement.
quote:
The week-long Chinese New Year holiday is usually a time for hundreds of millions to travel -- either back home to see relatives or on vacations -- but many cancelled their plans either due to virus-related travel restrictions, or for fear of contracting the disease. Wuhan and several cities in Hubei province are under a virtual lockdown, with severe restrictions in place including the suspension of public transport services. This further tightened on Monday when the city said it would be shutting down passport and visa services till Jan 30. But the city’s mayor said that before the lock down on Jan 23, 5 million people were able to leave the city for holidays and other reasons.
Some in Wuhan have volunteered their own vehicles to ferry patients to hospitals while others have volunteered to cook for hospital staff who have been shunned by food delivery services for fear of contracting the virus.
But some villages in Hebei province have taken things into their own hands but preventing outsiders from entering, even going as far as to build mud walls as barriers, showed images on the Twitter-like Weibo. The Straits Times has been unable to independently verify the pictures.
Images from Hubei province have shown overwhelmed hospitals and long lines for treatment with dwindling medical supplies. Smaller provincial hospitals had earlier put out a call for donations for medical equipment including masks, goggles and protective suits.
Supplies have gradually streamed in and the army also mobilised close to 1,000 medics to reinforce overwhelmed hospitals.
