Shouldn’t you be beating that thing into submission while over looking Central Park all that day?

Maybe not for you or OP. I just know I wouldn't be in the mood to PIIHB after that, which is the point of a honeymoon.
NYC is a horrible choice for a honeymoon or part of a honeymoon in any way. I grew up in upstate NY and spent plenty of time in NYC, so maybe I see it different. Even though movies try to make you feel like it is, it is not a romantic place for a destination.
With the removal of the Broadway shows per the OP, for pure romantic life I would take a walk through the park, have a fancy dinner and spend the rest of the time in the bedroom. If they are wanting to be a tourist though, you might as well visit one of the 5 main landmarks there. It might be more digestible to you by adding the One World Observatory at the same time, I mean I would if you are down there and would be better than ESB.
Unleashing AI though
??? NYC in 1 Day: “Classic Highlights Tour”
?? 8:00 AM – Start at Battery Park
Grab coffee/pastry from Leo’s Bagels or Bluestone Lane nearby.
Head to Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Ferry (1st ferry around 8:30–9:00 AM).
Tip: Just take the ferry ride and view the statue from the boat if you're short on time.
?? 10:30 AM – 9/11 Memorial & One World Observatory
Visit the 9/11 Memorial (free).
If interested in the Museum, allow 45–60 min.
Optional: Ride up to the One World Observatory for skyline views.
?? 12:00 PM – Walk/Bike the Brooklyn Bridge
Scenic 30-minute walk toward Brooklyn.
Quick snack stop: Time Out Market (great views from rooftop) or Juliana’s Pizza for a classic slice.
?? 1:30 PM – Subway back to Midtown / Times Square
Take the subway (A/C or 2/3 line) to 42nd St – Times Square.
Explore Times Square’s flashing billboards, shops, and characters.
Option: Walk a block to Bryant Park for a calmer vibe.
?? 3:00 PM – Central Park Walk
Enter at 59th St & 5th Ave (Grand Army Plaza).
Quick loop: Gapstow Bridge ? The Pond ? Bethesda Terrace ? Bow Bridge ? exit at 72nd St.
?? 4:30 PM – The Met or MoMA (Optional)
Choose The Met (Upper East Side, near 5th Ave) or MoMA (near 53rd St) for a short museum stop (~1 hour).
?? 6:00 PM – Dinner
Classic NYC options:
Joe’s Pizza (Greenwich Village or Midtown)
Katz’s Delicatessen (Lower East Side)
Carbone or Via Carota (if you can get a reservation)
Los Tacos No.1 (Chelsea Market – fast & amazing)
?? 8:00 PM – Empire State Building or Top of the Rock
End with skyline views at Top of the Rock (better view of Central Park + Empire State).
Night views are breathtaking.

Imagine choosing New York City for a honeymoon, nothing like celebrating love while dodging puddles of sour piss, getting eyeballed by hostile homeless dudes, and inhaling the sweet, romantic stench of rotting trash and rat piss. Truly magical.

Honeymoon ? Just stay at the hotel and bang all day, baw.

I agree. I haven't been to it, but a little over a month after the Oklahoma City bombing, I was there and saw the site of the imploded building. There was a hurricane fence around it filled with stuffed animals, notes and other things. There were flowers and candles. A lot of it was obviously left by loved ones of the victims. It was stunningly moving and sullen. It affected everyone's moods.
Some years later, we visited the memorial which is very well done, but so very sad. Seeing the empty chairs was emotional.
This wouldn't be something I'd do on a happy short trip. I do it when there for more time, though.

when you get to bermuda go to the swizzle inn. The last time i was there, they had 2 locations. One on the northern part of the island by the airport and the second in the sourthern end of the island by the navel base.
you dive or snorkel around any of the 100s of ship wrecks
I have been to NYC in a long time but maybe go to the twin towers memeorial location, china town and buy a 12 dollar rolex. Canrt help much with new york

There is a good chance that RocketPower13 was not even alive for that event as it was 24 years ago now. To many it is just something they read in a history book. In 9th grade we did a school field trip to NYC and going to the top of the WTC was the highlight of that trip. I did that 2 other times later in life with friends, so 3 total visits. I could not imagine going to NYC and not visiting. At least you need to to One World Observatory for the views, and at that point you might as well visit the memorial.

Once again though, if you do not want to be a tourist and just a romantic - stay around the park. Eat, drink and honeymoon exercise.

Just seems like such a downer for a honeymoon.
I do know that it's a place that I will never visit.

A place that I like is the Plaza Hotel Food Hall...all sorts of food to choose from.

I'm actually 35, born in 89. I remember it vividly. The 9/11 monument is the one thing I know I'd like to see, I can take or leave the rest of the tourist sites.
