“Mainly the cane trucks. Once they start planting and farming and harvesting. They’re using my property to get around vehicles and any other things and its basically tearing up my property,”

“Basically it’s ruining my lawnmower. Every time I pass I’m hitting rocks and I’m hitting the dirt. Its also crushing my culverts. So eventually with enough passage on it, it’s going to start to collapse.”

I'd drive big nails through some 2x4's and line them up at the front of my yard.

Aren't those tire tracks on on a servitude, not his property?

Yup, and not dadgum thing you can do about it other than possibly pursue improper lane usage and you won't find anyone willing to write that ticket I bet.

I was thinking the same thing. However, I'd still be pissed if I were him. I don't own the first 10' off the road of my house, but I maintain it as if it is mine. However, a lot of those country roads like that are different. The road itself could be privately owned.

In regards to the properties that you own/manage how do you typically deal with disputes like this?

If it's a public road, the dude is SOL. All those tire marks looked to be in the ROW. He also better hope he got approval to cover the drainage swale. If he didn't, he just outed himself.
