Home AC question: can you get copper evaporator coils these days?

I know most manufacturers moved to aluminum coils 4-5 years ago due to cheap Chinese copper, but is it possible to get copper evaporator coils these days?

Not sure. I know you can get stainless steel coils.

I believe they still make them but special order Most have made the swap to aluminum.

ACME Refrigeration off of Cloverdale I think on Pennywood.

A lot of the copper coming in is from Chili but you can find a lot of American copper.

Yes...these roll down our lines daily. Copper coils are still produced by several companies. Manufacturers switched because the costs to produce a copper coil had skyrocketed. However, that is not the case at the moment. It cost us about the same. Labor drives up the costs to build aluminum coils as the process is much more involved versus a regular copper coil.

ETA: We use American copper only.
