A nearly 160-year-old home being trucked across a Texas city ended up stuck on the highway for a time when it became snared on a street light.

The so-called "Collinwood home," which was built in 1861 and was bought in May by the Haggard family, descendants of the house's original residents, was transported Wednesday from Windhaven Parkway in Plano to its new location at the Haggard Farm.

They were probably moving to Texas because they couldn’t find a job in Louisiana

If I lived there, I'd tell everybody to get the hell off my driveway.

FTR, that's not a highway you're looking at lol. It's a 6 lane surface street like most up there. It's right amongst homes, businesses and concrete. Park and Custer is about the only family land left up there.

How most Baton Rouge residents view this photo:

6 lane surface street
smooth concrete
properly designed drainage
street lights
Sidewalk
grassy medians
turning lanes
