Hipsters at 22nd Street and Florida Street intersection

Had to go over the old bridge today to avoid wreck traffic and went this way to get to Jefferson. Hipster groups with masks were walking around looking at their phones. Is this the Pokémon chasing thing or is there some other weird fad I don't know about?

There was a lot of groups. Seemed to be a gathering of some sort. And by the cemetery, catholic church, and the CATS bus hub seemed a really odd area.
The outdoor masks in the other thread about the park made me think about this.

Park by my home was packed today with people exercising, picnicking, hanging out, like every weekend. Not sure I’ve seen anyone at the park over the age of 5 without a mask in months. Not sure why someone wearing a mask triggers so many.

Were people volunteering to help clean the cemetery? The Sweet Olive Cemetery ... although that is a few blocks from there.
Maybe they were just taking their daily shower at the VOA Drop in Center.

The mask just made me remember. I was stuck at the light and happened to notice the masks. Way more noticeable was groups of 4 or so people every 10 feet looking at their phone.

Yeah ... wishful thinking ...
It's probably Pokemon ... the cemeteries have some rare ones you can catch. My kids lost interest in that though, I guess because they had to use my phone.

See lots of individuals in my area running, biking, walking dogs, totally alone,and wearing masks. At first I shake my head in dismay at all these people acting like covid is some type of fatal nerve agent, then I remember they are just leftest sheep obeying their leaders.

I care as much as I do when I see a hipster wearing a sock on his head instead of tying up his topknot. It doesn't really affect me, but I can't help noticiing what a stupid useless douchebag he looks like.
It's slightly scarier when you see people jogging or driving alone with a mask on, because it makes you realize a significant percentage of the population is truly confused about the meaning of the word "airborne."
