They would issue a warrant for your arrest. If you ever had to have a background check done it’s going to show up.
Good call. Hadn’t thought about that.

Does it even work like that in a small town? They really going to pass up a revenue stream?

Who wrote the ticket? That information would have been helpful.

You wear bubble wrap to go outside, don’t you?

You chose to drive over the posted speed limit and not get caught. Probably not the first time either. You gambled and lost. Pay the ticket and move on.

Absolutely roll the dice! Theyre incompetent right. They’ll probably enter your info wrong.

I just realized that I never actually answered your question. I live ain that area and I would probably use Coxwell & Associates to fight traffic violations.

It works like that nationwide because you have the right to confront your accuser.

I didn’t have my tailgunner with me and no time to file an 5320.20 with the ATF. It’s rare for me to drive through 3rd worlds these days since I left louisianastan.

Thank. I’ll check them out
I’m leaning back towards just paying. Everything I’m getting is coming back pretty high. Everyone must know this is a huge PITA and charges accordingly, which is reasonable.
Worse case, I just avoid Ms. Theres not really any reason i’d ever have to go there other than a 3rd world sight seeing adventure. Which doesn’t sound very appealing. And if I had to drive through I could gas up before to make sure I don’t give them any money and just save a bourbon st dump for them and role on.

In Rankin County if you show up to the court date and the cop doesn't the judge will consider that you opportunity to plea. If you plea not guilty, they'll give you a future court date to ensure the cop is in attendance.

quote:Have you tried calling and asking if they can get it to a non-moving violation if you pay it? Ticket costs are small fries in my life compared to ongoing insurance costs. Some kind of driving class etc? I did this in Plaquemines parish.
Thank. I’ll check them out
