Are you just making up abbreviations for stuff?

And terms.

I've never heard of "high tension" power lines. They are usually pulled to design tensions based upon wire size and span length. My assumption is that they meant high voltage....or high height.

I got a buddy that just built off Baron Road on the bayou. Yes kinda an eyesore those lines. Also, I have heard the rumors about high voltage lines causing cancer forever but Centerpoint power lines are running all over Houston and has for decades and nobody to my knowledge has gotten cancer. We might lose power for 2 weeks after a hurricane but I don’t think anyone has gotten cancer.

Yeah that gravel road and having a clean car don’t go well with each other. I think the subdivision owner will eventually pave it but when that happens the maintenance falls subdivision and that becomes a royal pia. Just ask the folks over on Parrot’s Beak.

High Tension Power Lines Near Residential Areasby TemprattThis last weekend I was at a beautiful home in Sterlington, La on Baron Road. Not only are some of these gorgeous (obviously in millions in cost) homes something to behold, but they're built near high power lines. I mean that type on towers that transport energery over long DX's. Is this a concern? Also the road in that nieghborhood is all grey gravel and requires 5 mph driving to reduce dust. No real big issue since paving the road shouldn't be a big deal.

I wonder if some of yall are real humans

I was a neighborhood association
President pre Katrina and thought all the powerline concerns were bullshite, but a bunch of doctors in the neighborhood send me a bunch of peer reviewed studies, mostly from Europe that indicated as association with some health issues. If I am remembering it correctly it wasn't the people right next to them but people several 1000 yards away that had the issues etc.

I would definitely research that myself before buying anything

a HUGE set of lines cuts directly thru Country Club of LA, or maybe CCLA was built around them. Regardless they are there and it ain't pretty

Look into this. My parents told me a high percentage of people that ended up buying under these lines developed cancer.

or you could just chase your tail on that one and let us know what you find. and yes you are correct about your parents. You have to realize IF that were actually something that had the smallest amount of traction the money folks there would be making sure Entergy was exposed.
