In my day, the cheerleaders just stood around looking pretty. Sure, back then they might get lifted up, but they didn't do many stunts. But it seems they have gotten really advanced in the past decade or so with their stunting.

But one question I have is why does Weber State (in Utah) seem to dominate cheer competitions? Weber is like a 1-AA school. Where is the SEC or Big-10 at? Any of you baws have a sister or wife who cheered that can elaborate?

My daughters are big into cheer. USF, UCF, Kentucky and Bama are all big time cheer schools.

Are you asking why a school who competes at the FCS level is dominating cheer at that level and at the same time wondering why SEC schools aren't winning a competition they can't compete in?
