There was an old (barely standing) bar along the bayou down in the swamp where an 85 year old man tended bar. A 20 dollar bill got you a hot case of bud lite, no questions asked.

We knew a guy with a great fake ID and there were a few places he could always buy beer. He never tried the liquor stores, but a few random gas stations and he'd walk out with a couple of cases. This was back in the mid-90s when drivers licenses weren't all fancy and hologrammed up like now. The only catch was that he wanted some weed as payment. People would offer to buy him a case of beer too, or at least give him the money for it. But he always just wanted a little weed. He'd buy you a case of whatever beer you wanted, bring you your change, all for a few joints.
