Because even if you receive the vaccine there’s still a chance you could get the virus. The vaccine is proven to help prevent it, but are you 100% immune? No, that’s why I’m saying they could still get it from people are carrying it, and you are statistically more likely to carry it if you are unvaccinated

Im guessing less than 5% of kids 12-17 are vaxxed in this state
Which is perfectly fine

It is really scary out there, I work in it. But keep believing everything you read on tigerdroppings and seeing on Facebook

361 out of 50 million and that is with every hospital begging to place Covid on death certificates so they get their kickback.

So people, including children should mask until there is zero percent chance anyone will catch COVID? Does that sound remotely realistic to you? Zero COVID?

I wonder how many of the 361 had underlying health issues…..

The answer is a total 361 as of August in case anyone is wondering. And yes, that’s the total for the nation out of a population of over 50,000,000 in that age group)
love your point here Darth. but i think that population count for that age group is actually closer to like 80 million. further proving the lack of logic behind these policies.
statista: population totals by age group

When did I say that? I do, however, feel like getting fully vaccinated gives you and those around us the best chance to minimize the effects of Covid

No do it not including kids that had severe medical conditions outside of covid.

Zero covid has always been the goal. Once you Figure this out you can ignore people mocking you and in general being annoying about vaccines, masks, vaccine IDs. None of it matters there is no end goal and the hysteria isn’t going anywhere. The debate is not in good faith so drop it all together.

Then tell me the limiting factor. If it’s not zero COVID then what is it? You say children should mask because they could give it to someone who isn’t vaccinated. The vaccine has been out since just after the to election. It’s been widely available FOR FREE to everyone since the spring. Everyone tho needs the vaccine has had ample opportunity to take it. If someone has not taken it by now, that’s on them. That’s their choice. And bring that it’s their choice, the consequences of their choice are there’s alone. And yes, there are cases where some people cannot take it. Do we shutdown society as we know it for that small minority who can’t take it?

It’s zero covid. The people who disagree have nothing to argue that with.

I know that’s their thinking. They want lockdowns, mask mandates, and now vaccine mandates until we reach zero COVID. They want government to keep and use ever expanding “emergency powers” as long as there is any chance of COVID being caught by anyone.
I wish they’d at least be honest enough to admit this is their baseline. At least if they’d be honest, then we could have a conversation about how the notion of “zero COVID” is absurd as trying to drain the ocean with a teaspoon.

That’s the problem. They think it’s about vaccination rates. Just like every step of the way they were led to believe it would be over if the retards would just follow the rules. Masks, quarantine, social distancing, bleach etc…It’s completely lost on them these narratives have never been a smidgeon accurate but they certainly have created an extremely dumbed down discourse where the guns are pointed at each other instead of the culprit. Oh well. Go check out tRant the utter disdain people have for each other is getting absurd.

The problem isn’t that such a low number under 17 year olds are dying from it, it’s that they still have the same potential to contract the virus and spread it to someone who IS at a higher risk of dying. It’s not about looking out for yourself, it’s about looking out for those around you.
This argument is so 2020
