We are all aware of the utter devastation caused by PeeJay when he uses The Dong, I can't even imagine what v2 would do.

If you're not first your last... in this case "last" equals a nuclear holocaust where these little Koreans are sexually abusing all of America's virgin women.

We must act now. America needs to stand up!!!!

you're probably right but you've got to think there is some kind of technology to knock down an ICBM or at least incapacitate one.

We have that tech and they've used it before. I believe they used it to shoot down a satellite that fell out of orbit.

Ultimately this is all Harry Truman's fault, if he would have just let Douglas MacArthur do his thing we wouldn't be in this situation.

Unfortunately, MacArthur did what he did and ignored the Chinese threat.

My point is a missle launched into American airspace would require mere seconds to have a chance to shoot it down. Our government employees take far too much time to react to these measures.

This is one of the most misinformed, politically biased post I have seen in a long time.

The us military has something called the Rules of Engagement that is given to EVERY unit in active service. Each RoE authorizes unit commanders to respond instantly if an attack is commenced

I expect a steady stream of articles that try and paint NK as a threat. Gotta put the propaganda out.

We don't even need nuclear weapons.

We would own that country in a max of 3 days. A legit war, where we go in and murder everything and its not a group of hidden rebels or an ideology..no "rules", it would be shocking to most.

Marine recon units and the seals could eliminate Kim easily. 20 guys could overthrow that shithole like thieves in the night.

What? MacArthur wanted to chase them past the Yalu River, into China, but Truman told the general "No" and that led to the tension and firing.

The Chinese had nearly pushed MacArthur off the peninsula, after the intervened, then he pushed them back inside their own country, and Truman wilted.

they may have an elaborate system of tunnels running all over the country and we didn't exactly fare well against something similar in Vietnam.

We didn't have the MOAB in Vietnam.

We'll collapse those tunnels.

He thought they were just some peasant army that couldn't find the business end of a rifle and ignored all intel that they were about to get involved. That's why we got fricked up at Chosin and soon began heading south.

The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; the second is war. Both bring a temporary prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunists.

And there you have it.

I agree. North Korea is indeed terribly mismanaged.

I guess no one here remembers 9-11-2001. It took our government basically half the day to figure out what was going on. Then another 6 months to launch a counter attack against our enemy (Afghan Terrorists)

My point is a missle launched into American airspace would require mere seconds to have a chance to shoot it down. Our government employees take far too much time to react to these measures.

Not sure if you are trolling or not, but these two situations couldn't be any more different. they hijacked a commercial airplane, something that never before in history had been used as a weapon. It was by complete surprise, there was no way of knowing how many planes were involved, what locations would be targeted, who was responsible, etc., etc.

This situation has a clear aggressor, with a specific weapon, and an intended target. Not to mention all of the world's attention is fixed on NK.

OK, I can see that.

But we undoubtedly regained the upper and whipped them pretty hard, back northward.
