Hello In There: Reaching Out To The Elderly

I have found a friend that is 90 and he's a WW2 and Korean Veteran. He lives in Zephyrhills Fl. I help him around the yard with things and help repair his RV. Old People need someone they can get help from. Every Sunday I go over and help the guy. It's been very rewarding for me and my wife. Please reach out to someone in need.

My girlfriend is from Zephyrhills. She's the old lady who won that big arse lottery jackpot. We started dating shortly after.

Can you imagine the destruction that a 90-year-old could do in an RV?

First thing I thought when I read it

WW2 vets are awesome. I have a friend who earned a purple heart at Okinawa. He's 93 and still does most everything for himself. Beat cancer twice, teaches Sunday school, and owns 3 businesses. They don't make men like him anymore.

I help old people every chance I get.
Two weeks ago I changed this old black lady's tire for her.
I felt bad she was by herself on side if the road.
Seeing true gratitude in someone's face is worth more to me than 100$ bill.

We sat next to a WW2 veteran at UK football games, he survived Pearl Harbor. Talking to him was a great experience for me. Both my grandfathers died when I was very young, so I got some of that conversation from him. He was a true American. He and his wife died about 5 or so years ago. Rip Mr. Toy!

There is a WWII vet at my Dad's church who always gives the closing prayer. It takes him about 5 minutes to walk down to the front, but then he knocks it out of the park!

They have to let the lonely nastiness inside them out. They have no where else to place it.

So you're not related to the guy?
I seriously doubt I'd hang out with a 90 yr old just for the fun of it
