94 here now but it was at 95 a few minutes ago. Heat index doesn’t show here but it is 110. HOT AS BALLS.
Yes, the indoor temp shows 79 but that’s because I have the backlight on and it warms the system up when it’s on. It’s a nice 70 inside right now

It says it's 65%. We actually don't hit 100 very often in South Louisiana. I'm sure the humidity has some role in that. It doesn't matter though. It's just as miserable, maybe more so.

It does play a part, which is why it's so incredibly rare for temps to get to 95-98 with humidity and dew points as high as they have been the past few days. Very hard to do that here.

It's been years since we've run this hot for this long. Lakefront Airport managed 40 straight hours with a heat index over 100 this weekend and BR airport recorded an 80 dew point for four straight hours for the first time since Aug 2011.
Ridge position out west has been working against the seabreeze and that's usually something that will spark storms when we get this hot despite the high pressure pushing shite down. That should change in the next day or two thankfully.

Austin, but most of Texas in general has been. Last summer was almost pleasant. This summer and summer of 2014 I believe were horrendous.
