Looking at the analytics, it does appear someone out there is getting around the VPN block and is voting from other countries. New Zealand, Germany, Taiwan, Puerto Rico, to name a few. Might have to run a vote audit after this

I can't believe Celine is going down this soon in the tournament. The OT should be ashamed of itself and needs to find its balls again. This is unfathomable.

For some reason I can't access them for that particular matchup right now. The other matchups have multiple votes from other countries and gives me the vote breakdown from those countries. Any matchup with votes from other countries that make a difference in the outcome of that matchup will have those particular votes removed.

This is America. We don't let other countries have a part in our democracy.

Ok, so it didn't happen EXACTLY like I described but it happened!

Here is the preliminary new bracket. Strawpoll isn't letting me access the vote analytics right now for some reason so as soon as I can see which ones may have been influenced by foreign votes, I'll certify these results as official. Until then, they're just preliminary. Megan beat Lauren by only two votes and that's the one that I really want to see the analytics on. All others appear to be pretty solid using eyeball test.










Update:
Per strawpoll.com's IT team, the analytics should be available in 2-4 hours. I'll know more then.

I just checked and the analytics still aren't available yet. If they weren't so close I wouldn't care but a couple are very close and depending on where the particular votes came from, one or both of them could flip. Only two reasons for votes to come from another country:

1. someone made a very intentional attempt to get around the VPN blocker and fraudulently voted using a VPN

or

2. someone in another country voted


We're Americans and we don't let foreigners have a say in our elections. Especially not something as vital as the OT Unicorn Tournament!



Also, The Keilah vs Juli Annee matchup from the opening rounds may be in question as well. Keilah beat Juli Annee by one vote then. I'll check into that as well once the analytics are available again. If Juli Annee really won that matchup, we'll do a rematch to try to get it right.

I'll post screenshots of the analytics for each matchup in question for full transparency.
